Buzz: Coveting Rick Nash and/or Making A Run At Zach Parise On July 1

In his chat at ESPN.com, Pierre LeBrun says that the Rangers “covet” Rick Nash but they are worried about giving up too much and ruining what the team has going for it. LeBrun says that he “knows for a fact” that the Rangers really “covet” Nash but that the asking price is scaring them.

LeBrun goes on to say that the price for Nash is going to be 3 or 4 assets.

He says that he thinks that the Rangers need to add another goal scorer to be a real contender.

Further down in the chat, LeBrun lists the Rangers as one of many teams who will make a strong run at Zach Parise if he hits free agency on July 1.
