Bob McKenzie tweets that the Rangers have re-signed Kris Newbury to a two-year, two-way deal.
Newbury has played 18 games for the Rangers over the last two seasons.
In his last two seasons in Hartford, Newbury had 61 points in 69 games and 64 points in 65 games.
John Tortorella called him an “old school” player in the early part of the season.
