Buzz: Bobby Ryan Is Ready To Move On, Dad Wants Him On Flyers

Bobby Ryan had this to say to Randy Miller of the Courier Post:

“I take things personally,. Anaheim to me has been a team over the past year that really has shown me nothing to prove that they want me here, unfortunately. Obviously, it’s not the ideal situation. When you get drafted, you want to win championships with that team and every time they look to add a piece to the puzzle, I’m the piece going the other way.

“I gotta be honest with you. At this point, I don’t care. Move me … because it’s just tough going to the rink every day knowing that if something goes wrong, you’re going to be the guy moved.”

Ryan tells Miller that he is willing to go anywhere, but the Flyers would be his first choice since it would be a return home for him. Ryan is from Cherry Hill, NJ.

Ryan’s dad said, ““In my mind, the Flyers are the best that there is. But I just want to see him happy. The only place he can’t go is the Rangers. I’d never hear the end of it from Clarkie.”

Bilial Powell needs to be in space more, if we're running the ball through the gaps PLEASE let Ivory handle that job, not that Powell can't, but Ivory is a MONSTROSITY when it comes to contact and can make gaps for himself even when there are none. Powell is more shifty, give him the ball on counters and stretches and pitches and let him dance then hit the gas and go because that's where he excels. I think after a little POW! From Powell, then unleashing the IVORY MONSTROSITY on teams can be uber effective and extraordinarily tireing on opposing deffenses. I love our backs and I think their styles truly compliment each other and that their ceilings are sky high especially if they're used the right way together. I would like to see us replace Alex Green with someone else though, I truly know nothing about him and have yet to see him contribute in any way, to me he's a nobody and I would like to replace him with a anybody.

Alex Green did return a squibb kick.  I liked his moves enough that I looked in the program to see who it was.

BTW, the Ivory block on Moore was, IMHO, a key play in the game.  You could hear the pop in the stands and a lot of people actually cheered the play as it happened.  I thought it gave the team and fans a lift after seeing the pass blocking so soft the past few games.

After that 15 yard run, my 9yr old said it looked Marshawn Lynch-like. I tend to agree. More of that please! Oh, and while the playoff mathematics are still in play please replace Winters until we're out.

I think Ivory was close to knocking Moore out on that play.......he went down in a lump.

@a57se   When the Jets acquired Ivory, more than one Saints fan echoed how sorry they were to see him go. From, "he's a beast", to "take Ingram instead".

One of the Jets better acquisitions of late.
