Read: Roman Hamrlik Talks About Pushing Don Fehr/ Isn’t Happy

9:51PM: Erik Cole responded to Hamrlik’s quotes at Habs Inside Out and can’t believe that he would make comments like this publicly.

Cole said “For him to come out and say this, it’s the most selfish thing I’ve heard during the lockout. Without a doubt. It’s just disappointing. You’d think the veteran guys are the guys who’d take more pride in what other veteran guys sacrificed in the last lockout, how we all benefited from that as a group. Some guys never played again.

Cole adds that Hamrlik has made comments like this in private to fellow players.

6PM: Roman Fedlicka, via Nick Cotsonika, tweeted out a quote from Capitals defensman and two-time lockout veteran Roman Hamrlik about Don Fehr and the NHLPA.

“I am disgusted. We have to push Fehr to the wall to get the deal. Time is against us. We lost 1/4 season, it is 425M $. Who will give it back to us? Mr. Fehr? There should be voting between player. Four questions – YES or NO – then count it. If half of players say lets play, then they should sign new CBA. If there is no season he should leave and we will find someone new. Time is our enemy.”

Darren Dreger tweeted earlier today, and was repeated by Larry Brooks and Katie Strang, that the moderate players really had to push for this.

Just wanted to take this chance to wish all you guys a Happy Thanksgiving...thank God for Family and friends, including you never say die and loyal Jet Fan bloggers,  that are grieving along with me a really dysfunctional (though beloved) team. All we can do is persevere, use social media, fly banners behind airplanes, complain, agree, and argue amongst ourselves, strategize, root, and pray to the Football Spirits that some way, somehow we will pull off our dream of winning a Super Bowl (and before some of us croke!) So to all of you guys I say...

Does it really matter who starts at quarter at this point, both suck.  Sorry but Vick had his chance and so did Geno.  At this point it is everything that is wrong with our be-loved Jets team.  And even if we got a top 3 pick, do you really believe all of a sudden we will have the ability to choice the correct player or players.  We're back in the dark ages with this team.  Thanks for nothing Mr. Johnson. And if by chance we clean house, please do not go back and hire a consultant firm to choice the best GM for your team, gee look on how it worked out the last time you did that.
