Note: The Power Play Actually Scored On Sunday

The Rangers power play is 6 for 53 but scored the game winning goal on Sunday against the Capitals.

The power play, ranked 30th in the NHL, has goals in two straight games.

Derek Stepan said of the power play, “I think our PP has been close in games, in others it has been terrible. Tonight we zipped it around pretty well and we gotta continue to build on that and move the puck like that.”

Michael Del Zotto said “knock on wood, hopefully that sparks things.”

Montreal, the Rangers opponent tonight, is 11th in the NHL in penalty killing and 9 for 9 in their last three games.
