On his game, Graves said “I am a defense first defensemen and coach Phil Boucher taught me a lot on the offensive side of the game. He was a PP guy with a booming shot and he taught me a lot about that and situations to shoot and worked with me on technique. We worked on it a lot this year and I got a few points from it.” (NYR)
He said that he was shooting the puck more last season and isn’t someone who will necessarily lead the rush. He gets his points from shooting the puck at the point. (NYR)
