Read: Expecting A Better Effort Against The Pens

In the Rangers loss to the Bruins last night, they were 0-5 on the power play and took seven penalties.

They had 10 giveaways compared to the Bruins 1 and won 23 faceoffs and lost 35.

After the game, on Hockey Night Live, John Tortorella said “as a group, I don’t think anyone played that well.”

He followed that up by saying that he expects his team to be a lot better tonight against the Penguins.

Against the Flyers yesterday, the Penguins were 2 of 3 on the PP, had 37 hits and won 35 faceoffs while losing 27.

Two of the three Penguin goals came off of clean faceoff wins.
