Read: The One Benefit Henrik Lundqvist Sees With The Lockout

In an interview with a Swedish Newspaper, Henrik Lundqvist said that due to circumstances that changed for him in the offseason, he sees at least one positive with the lockout.

Lundqvist told the paper that since his daughter Charlise was born in July he has been up a lot more during the night helping out but that he will find a way to adapt when the season starts, “If I should find something positive with the lockout, it’s that I have been able to spend more time with my daughter and help out more at home. It’s hard for me to be up all night when I play, you need to sleep in order to perform, that is for sure. Then I adapt myself later when hockey starts again.”

Lundqvist got his daughter’s name tattooed on his arm before heading to Sweden to see family and friends.

I wish we could keep Rex as our D coordinator.

Is anyone else totally sick of this crap? Just shut up Rex. You conned us again with your BS about how much talent you had on this roster, just like 2011 when you said this was the most talented roster you ever had, just like 2012 when you said "this is the most talent I've ever had" just like 2013 when you said...well, he never said that last season. I actually think the Jets missed the script, because this season should have happened last year.

I like Rex...well, actually lets just say I want to like Rex, but he hasn't done himself any favors with his insane comments early in his tenure (guarantee the Super Bowl) and his poor coaching decisions after that. No coach, other than Lou Holtz and Rich Kotite has had as many blow outs as Rex. The Jets have lost 7 games in his tenure by 25 or more points.

Herm Edwards only had 5, Kotite had 4, but in only 2 seasons, Mangini had just 1.

Going back even further, Joe Walton had 7 as well and Bruce Coslet just had 1.

Rex has been unpreppared more often than not.

Not dead, but definitely on life-support.

Define "dead", Rex.

Golf in January for the team?

Playoffs are "Jet-less"?

Fans will like a player who idzik is not even close to his radar?

Excitement has long ended?

i feel like its been the same thing being said for the past few seasons now

"If the team just plays .750 football over this stretch of x games" and it never happens.

time to prove me wrong jets!

If they win the next two games, they are right in the mix, possibly half game out of first place... probably will not happen, but it won't matter in the end either way. They are simply not a good enough team talent-wise to sustain any consistency over a 10 game stretch. There will be a game or two like the SD game where everything goes wrong, possibly against a bad team they should beat. There will be games where they play very well and lose to very good teams because they are short of talent.

The only thing beating NE and Buffalo does for this team, is give Rex a shot at coming back. If they lose both games the narrative may take over and the spiral may spin out of control, even if they were planning to give him 2015... so I'm rooting for two wins here, not because of any delusions of playoffs, but because I want Rex to get the one thing he needs to win again: next year's team.

Considering the Patriots are entering the difficult half of their schedule on Thursday night, they may not win another game.

If we win out, go 11-5, we can still win this division.  I think it's going to surprise a lot of people just how up in the air it is this year.

Oh yeah Rex, our 11-5 season begins this Thursday! smh

"Don't do that!  That's exactly what they're expecting us to do"  John Idzik on picking up a quality WR or CB in the draft.

I am somewhat impressed that we were competitive against the Broncos with no Milliner. We need a deep threat so bad.

Sorta like the guy they carried out to the dead pile in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail".

Until Woody Johnson makes a statement that your job is safe Rex you will be viewed as the WALKING DEAD

My feeling is that Rex, Decker, Amaro, Richardson, Big Mo are among the few bright spots on this team.....

Major change needs to happen on offense and in the defensive secondary....

Finster, I'm right there with you. I've been a big Rex supporter as well but you reiterated things I wrote here last week. Rex's teams are simply not prepared way too often. And I am so tired of hearing his quotes and praises of players. How about call someone out once in a while, or how about doing it a lot? Your backup QB who was brought in to be ready if the kid can't cut it, admits he wasn't ready to play, and you praise his honesty? How about replacing Geno because he has been horrible? If a player is consistently not getting the job done you have to sit them down. Bad message to the team to leave Geno in. Winters is in that category as well, but injury has solved that. I am ready for 1-15, fire Rex, draft Mariota.

@WW85 could have drafted a top receiver and signed a top CB or drafted a top CB and signed a very good receiver, but neither was done, we can only wonder of what could have been

I think we still win enough games to guarantee a great qb won't fall to us.
