News: Rick Nash Is Skating Today (Update: Doesn’t Think He Will Play Tonight)

2:02PM: Bob McKenzie listed Nash in a tweet that mentioned players who had suffered concussions this season.

Nash said earlier today,  that he has been banged up “quite a bit” and didn’t feel as if I could compete during the games he missed.

Nash said that the plan is to return to the Rangers lineup shortly.

11:05AM: Katie Strang says that Nash described his presence at the morning skate as “positive.”

11:04AM: Nash tells Andrew Gross that he doesn’t think he will play tonight, but that he has been skating on his own since last week.

Nash wouldn’t specify the exact ailment that has kept him out of the lineup and said that it was a few different things.

10:54AM: Steve Zipay says that Nash is still on the ice with Mike Sullivan and Mike Biron while all the other Rangers are off the ice.

10:30AM: According to Pat Leonard, RICK NASH is ON THE ICE at the Rangers morning skate today.

He is wearing a jersey that designates him for contact.
