Throughout the summer, Dominic Moore has said that the Rangers were his number one choice to return to the NHL with.
Moore told the Rangers website on Friday that he can’t wait to get back on the ice and it’s been a lot of fun to get reacquainted with things in New York.
Moore said that getting the chance to return to the Rangers is “a bit surreal” and that he is “glad to come here and create new memories in a familiar place.”
“This was my first choice all along. I loved it here and wanted to come back. It’s very special and it’s a great fit for me and I couldn’t be more excited.”
He added that it doesn’t seem like it was that long ago that he and Henrik Lundqvist were both rookies and that it’s great to have another chance at being teammates.
