On TSN”s Insider Trading Segment, Bob McKenzie mentioned that the Kings may be open to trading their captain and former US Olympian Dustin Brown.
Darren Dreger tweets that the Rangers are one of the teams that are interested in Brown.
Brown, 27, is signed through 2014 with a cap hit of 3.1 million.
He is 6-0, 204lbs and has 215 hits this season for LA. Brown averages 1:39 on the PK.
Brown played under John Tortorella at the 2010 Olympics.
Rangers in on Dustin Brown, who would fit in perfectly and cost less (in assets and $) than Rick Nash.
