Read: Where Christian Thomas Could Finish In The OHL Scoring Race

At OHL Blog Loose Pucks, Terry Doyle asked people who they thought would lead the OHL in scoring this coming season.

Possible first overall pick Nail Yakupov was the top choice to win the scoring race. As a 17 year old last season, he finished fourth with 49 goals and 52 assists.

Christian Thomas, who finished in sixth last season with 54 goals and 44 assists, was picked to finish fourth this season.

This is Thomas’ last season of junior hockey eligibility.

Thomas may get a shot to play in one of the three preseason games the Rangers have before going to Europe, but I don’t think he will make the trip with them. I think it would be a good experience for him, but I’m not sure how many extra players they plan to bring over to Europe, especially one that could go back and dominate the OHL again. As a veteran he may be the captain in Oshawa and that could be enough of a reason to send him back and have him try to lead his team to the memorial cup.

Thomas and Adam Graves, an executive with Oshawa, are helping out as coaches in a youth camp that starts today.

Any time that Thomas gets to spend with Adam Graves, on or off the ice, will help him a lot.

Rondo is a playmakr, a PG who makes those around him better. If he is healthy he'd be a great addition.

So i'm all for the Rondo Trade...Amare is actually making himself Trade Savvy now, let's hope his Knees hold up

i rather keep Shump now and throw JR to Boston though

One more thing:  WIth Espn reporting that the Heat are looking to acquire another backcourt player with Wade hurting and their glut of big men, I'm wondering if we could pawn JR off on them.  Don't know how the contracts work, but know the Heat are looking to deal Joel Anthony who I think would be a good fit here.

Just an idea, haven't really thought it through much, but it shows how bad JR is right now that I'd do that trade straight up in a heartbeat.

If the knicks are serious about contending Rondo is the piece that is missing. Involve a third team to get a picj if possible but Felton and Stats expiring contracts are a very handsome take as well. Even if Felton's contract runs through another year, as a starter on a rebuilding team he is a good fit.

Rondo would be nice. He would get other plays so many easier shots and it would take the pressure off of Melo. That would be nice

I'd like to see how Rondo plays after coming back from injury.  Sometimes players are just not the same after that.

yeah I mean obviously this is the ideal scenario, along with some combination of Melo/Love/Kyrie.  I think pairing Melo with a great pg is the best combo.  Put a couple of a shooters around Rondo-Melo and a good P & R big man who can rebound and protect the rim (like Tyson Chandler) and you're in business.

Rondo-Shump-Melo-Bargs-Tyson...I'd go to war with that lineup any day of the week.

He'll be healthy. I underestimated his ability to play in the NBA when he came from Kentucky, that was the last time I ever underestimated Rondo about anything.
