Utterly ridiculous to put this season on Rex Ryan. He will not be fired during season, nor will Idzik.

If woody keeps Idzik, you still need a fresh player personnel man.

We need more than just a QB to make 2015 valuable to fans and woody's pocket.

Position Coaches, scout staff & player personnel are all serious considerations at the end of this season.

Woody hasn't made the best decisions either, ex:MetLife, PSL's.

By the way wasn't Parcells also consulted in the GM hiring process...

This is what I want from the Jet game this week.

I would like to get some extra cheese on my slice of pizza.

And I would like to get an extra point from da Jets.

If Hoyer was Geno he would have five hundred million billion zillion infinity turnovers at this point in the game! Ditto for Sanchez

Draft Winston or trade for Manziel or sign Hoyer

Time for change....Can't come quick enough

Seriously, how did Andy Dalton have that game he had against us last year? Did he sell his soul to the devil for that game?

How come Johnny Football looks over Hoyer's shoulder when he reviews game photos on the bench while Geno just stares into space and looks sullen when Vick does the same?

Just had the fireidzik.com guys on news12. They said they want to hold the team accountable and that they are still attending games. What? Makes no sense.

Point One

Rex had to be furious that Idzik and Woody Johnson shipped away both Revis and Cromartie. Rex had to be wishing that Idzik and Woody would have signed Revis this offseason when they had the chance. I am POSITIVE Rex Ryan would have been thrilled to have a roster with BOTH Sheldon Richardson and Darrelle Revis on it. BOTTOM LINE - Rex Ryan is clearly NOT to blame for the disaster at the CB position

Point Two

Ryan is 100 percent to blame for the Jets having a horrible offense literally every year. Rex is only interested in drafting defensive players and is too stupid of a human being to see beyond his defense. He IS stupid. There's no doubt about it. Anybody who puts all their eggs in one basket (the defense) does NOT deserve to be an NFL head coach. There are 3 areas a coach NEEDS to focus on EQUALLY

1) Offense

2) Defense

3) Special Teams

Ryan gets a grade of F

Point Three

John Idzik is a penny stock GM who invests in penny stocks hoping to get rich. Idzik's peers around the NFL who are GM's invest in blue chip companies with proven EARNINGS. Idzik is a complete imbecile. He should be FIRED today! He should have been fired during the offseason when he was clueless in free agency and the draft

Point Four

Woody Johnson - This guy is a complete fool who is lucky as hell he inherited money. If he ran Johnson and Johnson it would trade on the pink sheets

You guys asked Joe what the real cause of Jets demise is? Although I agree it's more than one, the biggest is the Jets poor drafting? For this I place the blame on Rex.  Tanny and Idzik are both admin. GMs not personal guys. Everyone knows Tanny never said no to Rex and I don't think Idzik has the knowledge to either.  Bradway doesn't have the rank to make the call so Rex is the biggest problem.  Funny how Joe stated "Rex won with Mangini's roster" nothing is more true.  Rex is a good coach, but that is it.  He falls in love with players and drafts them way to high. Woody is going to dump Rex, Bradway, and give Idzik some BS job like "capologist". He's gonna hire a real GM and coach, anything else is a total disaster.

Rex is doing his job better than Idzik is doing his.

John Idzik is doing his job better than Woody Johnson is doing his.

@juunit He is a $100 million QB. He makes Joe Flacco look like a bargain.

@Pete 57 So they basically went on the air to tell everyone they're idiots.

@Mike O'Connor Agree completely Mike. I always had my doubts - feared he would be an idiot savant like his pop. But I'm not sure about the savant part anymore.

Great with the schemes. No one has been coached up on this team in 6 years aside from D-line. His coaching hires have all been terrible with the exception of Pettine and Dunbar.

Clearly Tannenbaum went from getting 'character guys' to character rejects and a win-now approach the moment Rex got here.

Rex is the reason the offense was starved for talent. And aside from defensive line, he hasn't added a thing to the D either.

So basically he's a great coach as long as he has no say in the offense, no say in the draft, no say in who his coaches are, no say in game and clock management. and please keep that flag out of his hands, he is worse than the biggest homer on challenges. Yeah he will be in great demand as a HC after this.

I would hate to see him in that role with the Pats though, where he can just devise blitzing schemes and working on adapting to a no touching, pass-rush defeating quick pass league.

My dream job for Rex is - coach at Rutgers. He would be an amazing recruiter I would think. That would at least be two things he could be great at.

@kniff Woody Johnson is doing his job better than mine. Unless he's commenting on a Pats forum now instead of consulting with experts about his next GM.

@Brendan @juunit

See? Our QB situation could be worse. We could've just signed Andy Dalton to a $100m contract.

You are right but your assessment is wrong. Head coaches need to lead men and balance personalities. Rex can't lead on the offensive end so he is not head coach material, and i love Rex but I think Sanchez and Geno has talent and are made out to look worse than they are. These things fall on Rex.

Pablo Bruno
Pablo Bruno

@AaronGlenn @kniff  He can handle the financials, everything else would be handled by committee, Idzik would have to approve the financial aspect, the New GM along with the scouts would approve the talent, and the New Coach would approve if it's a fit for that aspect of the team.

You don't fire Idzik , you hire his replacement and give him a made up title while Idzik remains the figurehead.
