Read: Benn Ferriero Is Glad To Get Another NHL Shot

This morning the Rangers called up Benn Ferriero to take the place of Chris Kreider who is out of the lineup with an ankle issue.

Ferriero has played 92 games in the NHL and was acquired earlier this week for Chad Kolarik.

Ferriero said that he is glad to get another shot at the NHL and plas his best when he uses his speed to his advantage.

Brian Boyle, who played with Ferriero for two seasons at Boston College, told the NY Post that he will catch on quick, “He’s a good hockey player, he’s a smart hockey player. He can play.”
