Tweet: Boston Owner Jeremy Jacobs Is Causing Problems (Updates)

11/10/8:56AM

8:37AM: Larry Brooks writes in the NY Post that it is no surprise that Jacobs that Jacobs wants to make a deal that would help him keep make more money at the expense of his team.

Brooks notes that Jacobs and his ways are what drove Ray Bourque out of Boston in search of the Stanley Cup.

For many years Bill Simmons of ESPN has talked about how Jacobs, pre 2004-05 lockout, was a penny pincher at the expense of trying to win the Stanley Cup.

Idzik is in a business that's suppose to produce, he admits he's not producing, so he should fire himself.......resign !  This ain't rocket science, he's had his chance, he still stands by what he's done,or should say what he hasn't done. His presser shows he has no clue. Well Woody......what now ? Your hand picked GM just opened his mouth and proved what's  being said....he don't know and needs to go !

Well, as long as Idzik's got his head up Woody's posterior and in control of talent, personnel and coaching there's not many places we can go except to stay the course and get more consistent.     Idzik claims ownership of the 1-7 record and says his performance to date isn't satisfactory, but he also says he believes in his team and all its coaches, believes he/they have the players to win now and in the future, and that the plan/approach he's followed since taking the job is the key to the promised land.

I'm a little fuzzy about how staying the course with the same plan, coaches and players will somehow turn around a 1-7 team, and why he thinks his performance is unsatisfactory if there's nothing he would do different or better, but maybe that should no more faze any of us than it seems to bother Idzik or Woody.

@1969JAN12th b/c QBR is the stat to judge all great QBs...or so says ESPN. with that said, there's still the eye test and he's failing that. miserably.

Why don't we get a petition for Woody to sell his team, if Joe Willy had the money maybe he would make a better owner.
