Read: The Players Want Donald Fehr To Get Back To Negotiating

At CBC, while explaining the “make whole” proposal, Elliotte Friedman writes that the players spoke out on their conference call on Thursday and told Don and Steve Fehr that they want them to get back to negotiating.

Steve Fehr and Bill Daly met yesterday but John Shannon said that they plan to meet again.

9:15AM Lebrun says that the two sides will meet again early this week.

Pierre LeBrun said that Daly and Fehr met till 1AM.

Kevin Allen tweeted this morning, “Don’t know if any progress is being made, but the longer owners and players can go without sniping at each other the more hope you can have.”

I hope that Wilkshake and Sheldon get 2 sacks each tonight... I could see Mo having a big game. Amaro should have another nice game in terms of catches, but I don't excpect much YAC. We can only hope that this team shows something tonight...

Don't count out Kerley!!

I expect a completely lifeless game by everyone on offense not named Brick, Mangold, Aboushi, Decker, Ivory, and Amaro. I expect the defense will be frustrated and tired by the 2nd quarter.

I hope that horse face Gisele Bündchen is there to watch her man get pile driven into the mud.  Brady is going to get what he deserves tonight, a butt whipping.

@kniff Kerley was asked why he hasn't been producing more and responded that he's only been getting 2-3 targets a game.   He had actually been targeted seven times, according to the NFL, but it was actually only three per PFF.

So I went back and two were tipped at the line, one was thrown away and another was thrown at his feet while he wasn't even looking back for the ball.  Maybe we've been unfair to be so disappointed in his output.

@roadyhorns You are critiquing the looks of one of the most beautiful women in the world. You must be quite the ladies man.

@a57se dude I've been commenting on here for weeks but no one was responding to my comments, not sure what the heck was happening but no one was able to read them....I actually started commenting under my wife's name "Vivian Silva"...very wierd

@a57se @Bent @kniff To me Kerley has always seemed like "a clutch" guy... so I would game plan for him to a degree if I was an OC.

I can assume Revis will be covering Decker however...

@a57se @Bent @kniff Answered that in BGA Extra.  I said that the Jets are using him to run underneath routes and those are what the teams are trying to take away.  No by covering him specifically but by taking shallow drops and being all over the short intermediates.

@Floyd Toucanet @a57se

I'm excited to see how he fares in place of Brian Winters.  Other things I'd be excited to see in place of Brian Winters:

-Dakota Dozier

-Wesley Johnson

-Dalton Freeman

-John Conner

-Saalim Hakim

-this inanimate carbon rod

-the chair that Yi Jianlian practiced against in that workout

-a cardboard cutout of Mitt Romney

-a singularity

-no 5th offensive lineman at all, just Brick and Mangold holding hands and wearing friendship bracelets

-Mosi Tatupu

-an Ottoman (the piece of furniture)

-an Ottoman (the historical person)

-Otto the bus driver

-Mike Devlin

-Mike Honcho, who spread his cheeks in Playgirl

-the little chinese keymaster dude from the Matrix

-Rob Ryan

-Rob Roy

-a Tom Collins

I think they'd all be an upgrade over Winters.

I don't think the problem with the schedule has anything to do with no divisional games til week seven.  Instead it's the fact that all the toughest games seem to be bunched at the start with the two toughest of all five days apart.

Brigitte Moynihan has it over her, except in the southeast corner of the balance sheet.

But then again, I 'd take Maryann over Ginger.

@a57se Yeah, when you are flagged for an inappropriate comment, you can be banned but still comment (just no one sees it).

Amaro is going to see a lot of balls tonight.  Hope he's ready to make something happen.

@Bent @a57se @kniff

Meaning that what Kerley (and what Geno, by extension) needs to get untracked is for Marty to have some deep-ball threats so that he can call some deep shots and for Geno to throw some deep balls and for Brian Winters to get hurt so that whomever replaces him can stop being a turnstile preventing Geno from having the pocket he needs to throw those deep balls, so that defenses will stop pulling a "2012 Mark Sanchez" and just abandoning everything deep and pinching off everything underneath.

Long story short: Oday Aboushi and TJ Graham have to step up to save this offense.

@a57se It's "scary" to expect a young guy getting his first start ever to give a full effort?

@Bent Playing Thursday games in Foxboro is getting old, too.

@tsjc68 @Bent @a57se @kniff Are you saying that "Ground and Pound" in conjunction with "West Coast" is only two dimensional, and too easy to defend, and that we need a third dimension implemented (and quick) to be competitive?

If so, I concur!!

I was promised downfield passing in a Marty offense, and it's disappeared.  Now, granted, it might have disappeared because we have no deep threat WRs and we have one titanic hole in the OL that makes maintaining a clean pocket for more than two full seconds impossible, but still.

Every time we get in the car, my son says, "PLAY THE FROZEN MUSIC!"

That's one album I never would've bet I'd hear hundreds of times.  And the songs are so infectious.  I find myself singing "the window is open, so's that door. I didn't know they did that anymore. Who knew we owned eight thousand salad plates?" while dead lifting.

@a57se @Brendan I expect to see very little difference at LG this game except the number on the back of the jersey.

No, you expect him to grade out badly babysitting Aboushi.  If he babysits Aboushi, then he's having a good game, it just isn't going to be reflected in his final grade.

Semantics, I know, but still.

Maybe something good will happen.  Maybe the chemistry will mix just right and the O-Line will move the line of scrimmage five yards forward on every snap.

@roadyhorns @tsjc68 @Floyd Toucanet @a57se You gotta bring out the fun stuff on the sly. For example on the way to my 10 year old son's football games we crank "Walk this way" as performed by RUN DMC.

RUN DMC aaaaand Aerosmith. The Bytor propaganda machine in full force.

We'll be alright then, especially against this front.  It's Aboushi being even worse that we should fear.

@Bent Yep, I think so as well. I just don't think Aboushi will be noticeably worse than Winters.

@a57se Yes, those were light-hearted attempts at making light of the Jets' scheduling plight.
