Read: Team Executives Are Pissed and Want To Be Playing

In the NY Post, Larry Brooks writes that many team executives are frustrated with the NHL’s lack of desire to negotiate off of the players proposal from last week since they believe that the sides aren’t far apart and a deal is there to be made.

Brooks says that all team executives, except for Brian Burke, have started to become excluded in the negotiating process by the hard line owners and personnel on the negotiating committee.

He adds that the players have given union leadership the authorization to prepare for legal action since they are pessimistic a deal can get done through the negotiating process.
