10:20PM: It is believed that the MOU has been signed and the schedule will be released momentarily.

10:06PM: Michael Russo tweets that the MOU should be completed and signed “very soon.”

8:57PM: Elliotte Friedman tweets that training camps may not start until Monday and teams may only get three or four days of practice, after physicals are taken, before the opener.

He adds “HIGH intensity games. Increased injury risk to players. This is far from ideal.”

7:59PM: Chris Johnston and Pierre LeBrun tweet that the MOU is still expected to be signed tonight and camps are still expected to open tomorrow.

1:58PM: Darren Dreger tweets that the MOU “should” get done today and Bob McKenzie notes that the belief is that the document will get signed “sometime” today.

9:51AM: The NHLPA announced that the discussions to finalize the MOU will continue this morning.

8:40AM: Bob McKenzie and Pierre LeBrun both note that the lockout will not be lifted until both sides sign the Memorandum of Understanding.

McKenzie notes that the MOU is expected to be signed today, though Brian Lawton tweets that it is taking longer than expected to write up the memo and it may not be signed until tomorrow.

Bill Daly told Michael Russo that the lockout will not be lifted until the memo is signed.

McKenzie adds “It’s my expectation some GMs are sitting on trades/signings that are done or close to done and as soon as gun goes off, there’ll be activity”
