Bruce Garrioch tweets:
- “Don’t get your hopes up over NHL talks yet. Lots of issues to cover. Lots.”
- “People want to be optimistic. They have to be realistic. Lots of racetrack to cover. IF talks get serious this will go several days.”
Adam Rotter:I have thought since that first secret meeting that we would have a season by at least Christmas and while there is still a lot of work to do, I feel confident in saying that Rick Nash will make his Rangers debut before 2013. It’s not going to be as easy as them meeting today and tomorrow and them getting a deal. There are going to be setbacks and doom and gloom, but the pressure to make a deal is growing stronger on both sides and that will ultimately get the deal done.
