Buzz: Rick Nash Re-Aggravted His Groin Issue/Davos Playing Michael Del Zotto’s Team Today

According to Marcel Kutcha, who was in conversation with Melissa, Rick Nash will be out for one week because he re-aggravated his groin issue over the weekend.

The issue was originally thought to be a back issue.

Nash missed a few games recently with a groin issue but returned to the lineup and scored two goals.

this team went head to head with the prohibitive favorites to win the super bowl and outplayed them both games. i think you have to make a reevaluation at this time especially in lieu of casserly as an alternative or a consultant. it may be time to second guess and discard altogether the idea of replacing idzik. if you keep idzik then you need to give him his choice of coach and let him have the final say. also his sidekick smith definitely needs to be given another year to prove himself. to start all over with another QB will bring another 2-3 year learning curve the last thing this team and the fans who have waited for 47 years need. in the end idzik may have been right all along about smith and remember as phil jackson recently stated sometimes it takes 4-5 years to fully asses a trade. that same time frame applies to a QB as well in a lot of cases.

Idzik has earned his upcoming firing.

Cutting Geno would be foolish at this point, but it would be even more foolish to continue to hand him the starting job without competition or him proving he deserves it.

I'd prefer a total house cleaning, but I'm not totally against your idea. Although when it comes to Geno, I still have to have a vet QB, and a draft pick added to the mix.

@Jim503rdJames @SNYtv  No he should not. He is the epitome of what is wrong with the team. He is a very good defensive mind; however, his situational awareness in a game is terrible; his use of personnel is also terrible, he has both Coples and Pryor playing out of position, instead of coming up with a scheme to maximize their talent; etc. etc. etc.
