- Marian Gaborik has to feel relieved, scoring the game-winner after not scoring since Game 1 of the Ottawa series. He got better as the game went along.
- Henrik Lundqvist stopped 45 of 46 shots and was the difference on several occasions to keep the game tied. If not for him, the Rangers drop Game 3.
