Read: The Truth About The Rangers Right Now

Following practice today, where it was announced that Rick Nash would not travel to Ottawa, John Tortorella spoke about where he thinks the Rangers are right now.

He said, “everybody has injuries. You have to play. Nash is a big part of our team and been a very good player, but he’s out.”

Tortorella then added, “we can’t just have one line going. I think Step and Hags have been two of our most consistent players for a little while here. That’s great, Hags has added the secondary scoring but we need the primary scoring. We need to get more out of some of our other guys consistently. With Nash out or not, we still have other guys, Brad Richards, Ryan Callahan, a number of people that need to play better. That being said, I am trying to look at this as half full since I don’t think half of our lineup is there yet. We need to start practicing more and try to find our game quickly because we are behind.”

In reality Geno is no big loss. Fitzpatrick should have started over him in the first place. Geno had the worst QB rating in football last year, now over the winter he's become a big loss?

It's no wonder the NY tabloids are a mockery.

It's also no surprise that they are all going bankrupt.

I'm partial to "Jawmageddon".

However, as pointed out by the times, this nfl.com draft profile of IK is the best thing ever. Spooky how accurate they were!

“Strengths: Very thickly built. Flashes shock and violence in his punch. Highly competitive, plays hard and motor runs hot. Keeps battling to the quarterback.”
