Read: The Schedule Doesn’t Allow For Thinking About Yesterday

Yesterday in Winnipeg, Ryan McDonagh told the Daily News that the Rangers held a team meeting and addressed what happened in Buffalo along with the comments that John Tortorella made after the game.

McDonagh said that there is no choice but to move on to the next game because the schedule doesn’t allow for time to dwell on the past.

Stepan told the team’s website that the Rangers need a short term memory to be able to move on, “with the schedule we have it has to be a one-day thing.”

McDonagh added that he wasn’t surprised with how Tortorella reacted, “he knows we weren’t playing the way we need to and should have, and he responded the way he normally does in that situation.”
