Read: The Rangers Look To Start A Home Winning Streak/Jets Look To Keep Winning On The Road

The Rangers open up a four game home stand tonight against the Winnipeg Jets.

The Rangers are 6-3-1 at MSG this season and Ryan Callahan said yesterday, “you always want to play good on home ice, you always want to get wins at home and we got a bunch of games here where we are The Garden and it’s a good time to get on a roll.”

Marc Staal added that the team is looking to use this home stand as a way to get their game going in the right direction.

Brian Boyle said, “It didn’t work out the way we wanted to on the road, but now we have a chance to right the ship in our building in front of our fans.

Henrik Lundqvist said that the team is not that far off and that the Rangers need to take advantage of being at home, “this week is a great opportunity for us to play well in front of our own fans and start getting some points. From that we will build our confidence. I think a lot of good things will happen.”

The Jets are 8-9-1 and one point behind the Rangers. They have a record of 5-5-0 on the road and will close out a five game road swing tonight.

They have won three of their last four on the road and have beaten Buffalo, Carolina and New Jersey.
