Buzz: The Rangers Are Big Fans Of Curtis Glencross

According to Elliotte Friedman, at CBC, the Rangers are among a few teams who are very interested in Flames LW Curtis Glencross.

Friedman says that the Flames would prefer not to move Glencross even though many teams are calling about them.

He wonders if at some point Calgary will get an offer on Glencross or Mark Giordano that they can’t refuse.

Glencross, 30, is signed for two more seasons with a cap hit of $2.5 million.

He averages close to 19 minutes a game, has 14 goals and eight assists this season and plays on both the PK and PP.

He is 6-1, 197lbs and on pace, through an 80 game season, for 35 goals and 20 assists.

Last season he played in 67 games and scored 26 goals and added 22 assists while playing 18 minutes a night while playing around two minutes each on the PK and PP.

He has a no-move clause.
