Read: Pressure Is Finally Being Applied To Get A Season Going

In the NY Post, Larry Brooks writes that both the players and the owners are feeling pressure to get a deal done so that a season could start by December 1.

Brooks writes that the shortened season would likely be 62-66 games. On 12/1 last year the Rangers had already played 22 games.

On progress towards getting a deal done, Pierre LeBrun wrote at ESPN.com “That’s still too early to call. But they’re talking for a third consecutive day. And both sides stayed mum to the media again on Wednesday night. I’ll take that as a promising sign — but know that this could still unravel Thursday.”
