Adam’s Thoughts:

  • The Rangers were looking for their primary scorers to step up and Rick Nash delivered with two goals and an assist.
  • We can only hope that Brad Richards will take what he did in this game and bring it to Ottawa and Montreal. The shot he scored on was outstanding and has to give him some confidence. The play he made that started the Chris Kreider goal should also be a big confidence booster.
  • Four points for Derek Stepan as he continues to blossom into one of the Rangers most reliable players.
  • Chris Kreider looks like a different player. He is confident, engaged and willing to mix it up. After some stops and starts on his development train, he looks like is moving full speed ahead in the right direction.
