Read: The League Increased Make Whole But It’s Related to Contract Concessions

According to Chris Johnston and Aaron Ward, the NHL increased it’s offer on Make Whole from $211 million to $300 million BUT it is connected to other parts of the offer.

Ward says that the money only goes up to $300 million for greater concessions in player contracting. He adds that the number still doesn’t honor the full value of existing contracts.

Bob McKenzie says that the NHL upped it’s offer to $250 million for make whole and then $50 million to fund a pension plan.
