Adam Rotter: I don’t think a lockout necessarily helps anyone and it certainly won’t help the league. The idea of fewer games for the Rangers, with their grinding style, makes sense, but I don’t think it would matter. The Rangers play hard every night and that will take it’s toll on the team whether it’s 82 games or 60 games. What might hurt them, and another teams, would be an abbreviated training camp. Luckily for the Rangers, they are expecting to bring back most of the same team, so the identity and concept won’t be knew to them.
