Practice: Lisin Doesn’t Skate, Higgins Moved Up

Reporting from Vancouver, Steve Zipay has a report on today’s practice at Blue Notes.

Enver Lisin didn’t skate today after being hit with a puck in the foot during yesterday’s win over Boston. Zipay notes that Lisin had an x-ray, which was negative.

Taking his place on the top line is goalless Christopher Higgins.

…I love this move because it could finally be what gets Higgins going. Prospal is the perfect center to him and most players will gravitate towards Gaborik which could leave space for Higgins. This could be his best chance to get going.

Henrik Lundqvist is expected to start tomorrow night and be opposed by Andrew Raycroft. Roberto Luongo is out with an injury but did skate today.
