The Rangers fired 41 shots on goal at Craig Anderson last night in their 1-0 shutout loss.
Henrik Lundqvist said on MSG last night, “I still think we can make it tougher for Anderson, get a little bit more traffic. He likes to challenge so if we don’t have anyone in front he is going to come out.”
Billy Jaffe said on HNL last night, “A lot of the shots were straightaway. The Rangers need to get him to move laterally. He is a great first save goalie.
Brad Richards was asked on MSG if he thought the Rangers created enough traffic in front on Anderson and responded, “We didn’t win, so no.”
Richards added that the key is to go to the net but not take penalties.
