Note: The Rangers Were Group Texting Each Other To Push Themselves During The Summer

At ESPN Insider, Craig Custance spoke with Ryan Callahan and Ryan McDonagh about the state of the Rangers as they transition from John Tortorella to Alain Vigneault.

Custance says that the Rangers all stayed in touch during the offseason as a way to continue to push each other during training and workouts.

McDonagh told Custance that the group had a constant group text going that would encourage “each other to push themselves physically during the time off.”

In the past the Rangers have used accountability as a way for the players to push each other.
