One more from Ovi: “I have more time and space than [I had] against Boston, a hundred percent.” Tomorrow would be a good time to use it.

Ovechkin had two goals against the Bruins in the first round and only had one shot on goal in game one. He attempted four more shots, two that were blocked and two missed the net.
On defending Ovechkin, Dan Girardi said, “If he does cut to the middle, you pass him off to your partner and take his space away there and try to make his life hard.”
Ovechkin told the Caps website yesterday that he likes to get the puck in the neutral zone so that he can enter the offensive zone with speed.
Ryan McDonagh told the New York Times that the Rangers are trying to work against that, “We talk about trying to do it in fives. If we can cut him off in the neutral zone before he gets his legs going, it will only help our chances.”
