Walsh said to Larry Brooks in the NY Post: “I’m bewildered that a blatant blindside hit to the jaw of a player nowhere near the puck that knocked him out did not warrant a suspension,” Allan Walsh, Fedotenko’s agent, told Slap Shots via email. “How is this anything other than an intentional reckless hit to the head of an unsuspecting player?”
Update: 8:45PM The NHL has announced that Moore has been fined $2,500 for the hit.
League source confirms no hearing scheduled for D Moore. No ruling yet on a possible fine or warning. Rules out suspension. #TBLightning
