Two-to-One...

That seems to be the Rangers favorite score this post season!!!

@a57se I apparently missed the new NHL rule that prohibits the Rangers from participating in games decided by more than one goal, but I'll take it.

What a kill! Always good to have momentum in a series, we are almost to the promise land

Magnus Carlsen would be proud lol

Apparently Joe Namath is at the forefront of some new brain activity medical experiments. He was using a hyperbaric chamber to reintroduce oxygen and bloodflow to his brain, and it worked.

Interesting development.

Oh, I thought it was the Oprah for second.

I think I'm on board with trading for Zach Mettenberger. The Titans spent a 6th round pick on him.  We can give a sixth round pick back to them. He's got the arm strength and accuracy to win, but he needs coaching up and has to stay healthy.  He'd be another worth while dart throw at the QB position and it shouldn't take much to get him.

@Midwest Jets Fan

I'd give a conditional 7th for him if we hadn't already done just that for Ryan Fitzpatrick (who is better than Zach Mettenberger anyway).

Not interested anymore.

Bowles gets what Rex does not.

It's not a good idea to be "friends" with the guys under you. This goes for bosses and even parents. It doesn't mean you gotta be a jerk (you don't). It just means that a chain of command has to be established clearly and players need to know clearly what the rules are and what the consequences are. Once you establish this clearly for people they at least have STRUCTURE in their lives. Most people NEED this structure to be successful. Bowles realizes this. Rex never did....and he was taken advantage of....especially by younger players who were still undisciplined

Funny. I think Bowles and Ryan are very similar but I think of football tactics as a personality contest....

It's pieces like the profile of Mauldin why I continue to check on Cimini (not necessarily read).

It's like he makes you wade through tons and tons of his sloppy, lazy, cynical, click-bait excrement just to get a well-researched and well-written diamond once every year or so.

He's gonna have some stories to tell the grandkids.

Good luck with that. I'm just saying, we've made literally no progress in over 20 years of fighting in the ME. I don't see how an operation like this changes anything, honestly. Props to the unit that pulled it off, but in the grand scheme of things....meh.

williamg1

I've been saying that Cimini is probably the most talented beat writer, but he wastes his talents. Im betting his 2nd or 3rd wife (or both) wore him down. And now he's taking it out on the rest of us.

@williamg1 Delta Force just raided a Syrian command post and took out a top ISIS leader!

Bloody knuckles. Hahah. How awesome is that?

GreenHornet

@williamg1 No US Troops harmed, although one US commando came back with "bloody knuckles" from hand to hand combat. Wife of leader captured. 19 ISIS killed.....(CNN)  Cell phones, computers seized.... Boots on the ground!

GOOD DAY!

williamg1
williamg1

True. But at the same time I'll buy the books cuz it's nice to read inside accounts of the action rather than sanitized after action reports. So I'm not that mad.

williamg1

Delta Force should live tweet the events as they unfold. Instagram, something.

How did it change the game? Heck, how did the Bin Laden raid change the game?

GreenHornet

@Disgruntled Jets Fan I just wanted Bin Laden dead..... I'm a New Yorker, lost some people I know in 9/11. It may not have changed the ME, but at least that sc*mbag doesn't breath anymore....

Fair enough. Unfortunately his movement lives on. But I get the bit of closure that provided.

Syria is going to be a mess until the population there figures it out. On one side you have Assad and his Iranian backing, and on another side you have the jihadists. And then you have the population that's sick of Assad but isn't radical having to side with the enemies of their enemies.

Disgruntled Jets Fan

And both sides (the primary ones, as there are more than two) are terrible.

I say we put up a border wall around the Middle East. Triple fences. Problem fixed. Border walls are the cure alls.

@Disgruntled Jets Fan There's always gonna be battles here on Planet Earth. It's human nature. Different perspectives. Different histories. Someone is always gonna have more than someone else and therein lies the problem..... It's all a game...........whatever......I need a beer....... Separate, divide, conquer....yada yada yada....I hide in the shadows....and observe...

I approve this idea. Walls are awesome.

P.S. Except Dubai. I like Dubai. Maybe build a separate wall around it to keep the poor out.

They never named themselves ISIS. That's an acronym of the translation that the western media uses.

@Disgruntled Jets Fan Are we really still concerned of what others name each other......and whether it might or might not denote  femininity or masculinity ?

Nothin like progress in the 21st Century..... Yay people!

Lol, agree. I'm into all of that and everything else. Kemetic science has my interest at the moment.
