At CBC, Elliotte Friedman writes that he heard the Rangers had interest in acquiring Chicago defenseman Niklas Hjalmarsson.
Friedman says that when asked, both teams denied it.
It was thought over the summer that Hjalmarsson was available and 50% of readers said they would have interest.
