Buzz: The Caps Are Planning To Trade Alex Semin’s Rights

Darren Dreger tweets that the Capitals are planning to trade Alexander Semin’s rights.

Semin is a UFA on July 1.

When asked recently whether you would sign Semin, 31.24% said YES, 42.4% said NO and 26.33% said ONLY AS A LAST RESORT.

However, 65% of voters said that they would bring Semin in on a two-year deal worth $10 million.

Milliner was non-existent, in the first half.  He benefited from Gordon dropping & bobbling passes, in the end zone.  He did come out strong, in the second half but, towards the end, he was abused again, including a pass down to the five yard line.  He is a very weak tackler.  I have to hope that it is his shoulder and that, with another off-season and training camp, he will get stronger for next season.  I want him to turn into a great cover corner but, I guess that I am mad that either Rex or Idzik forced him onto the field, this season.  He has been overmatched and abused, all season.

Best headline by far.

I see why the posts are going up slowly, working hard to include Christmassy stuff in the titles!

Milliner definitely needs to work on his tackling technique but i wonder how much of that may have to do with his shoulder?

Allen looked really good to me yesterday as did Reed. I could see them 1 and 2 next year at Safety with a free agent guy and a draft pick supplementing them.....

Not to be obnoxious or anything but I called milliner being on Gordon!

@a57se To be obnoxious I called it first and you echoed it.

@a57se I believe so but Im really not looking for credit here, the fame would go straight to my head. I just said they should put Dee on him for experience and its a meaningless game anyway.
