At McKeen’s Hockey, they rank the top 120 prospects in the NHL.
The Rangers have four of the top 120 with Chris Kreider leading the way at number six. Kreider’s previous ranking was 23rd.
Dylan McIlrath is ranked 65th which is a drop from his previous ranking of 34.
JT Miller is ranked 75th after previously being ranked 90th and Brady Skjei cracks the list at 82.
On McIlrath, they give a scouting report saying “effective when keeping it simple and playing within his role .. aggressively closes gaps and will go out his way for the big hit at times – and get drawn out of position .. a willing and accomplished fighter .. increasingly tougher to deal with 1-on-1 as his body matures .. prone to stirring the pot at the wrong time and can struggle to control his emotions.”
