Hockey’s Future has ranked the Rangers seventh in their organizational rankings.
The Rangers were ranked 9th in the fall.
They cite the Rangers strengths as their depth at forward and on defense with a weakness in goalie prospects.
They move up two spots and lose Derek Stepan and Michael Sauer to graduating. Mats Zuccarello and Ryan McDonagh still count even though they played a ton with the Rangers, and that helps the rankings, but it also says a lot about the depth of prospects. HF still has Chris Kreider ranked as the Rangers best prospect.
