Hrivik was expected to join the Rangers for training camp this year but was out with his concussion at the time.
In speaking with Ranger Rants, Hrivik said that he isn’t feeling any concussion symptoms and that he wonders what would have happened if he didn’t get his concussion shortly before the new CBA was signed back in January. Hrivik said he is focused on making a good impression at training camp in September and battling for a spot on the roster.
Pat Leonard writes in the Daily News that the Rangers are very high on Hrivik’s skill level and his potential.
