Back in April, at Hockey’s Future, Leslie Treff ranked Dylan McIlrath as the third best Rangers prospect.
McIlrath played 45 games this season for the Whale after missing the first half of the year recovering from knee surgery.
He had five assists, a plus seven, 38 shots on goal and 125 penalty minutes.
Treff said that while McIlrath has progressed since being drafted, showing toughness and leadership, he needs more time before becoming an NHLer.
She expects McIlrath to spend most if not all of 2013-14 with the Wolf Pack.
THIS SECTION is all about McIlrath and dates back to when he was drafted.
