Danny KristoAt Hockey’s Future, Leslie Treff wrties that Danny Kristo is expected to spend the entire 2013-14 season with the Wolf Pack.

So far this season, Kristo has 4 goals and 3 assists in six games.

His seven points, as of Sunday morning, tie him for seventh in the AHL and are second in the AHL among rookies.

His four goals have been

  • wrist shot from the left circle over the glove hand
  • wrist shot from the right circle, stick side
  • deflection from in front of a Conor Allen shot
  • picks up loose puck in front after a scramble and puts it in on the forehand

She writes that Kristo is a “wizard” with the puck, “uncanny hockey IQ,” solid vision and a quick release. She says that Kristo should compete for a roster spot next season.

Ryan Kennedy has Kristo on his latest “Hot List” of Prospects at The Hockey News. Kennedy says that Kristo was “prolific scorer” in the NCAAs and has had no problem transitioning his speed and skill game to the AHL.
