– New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Conor Allen from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League (AHL). Allen, 23, has registered five goals and eight assists for 13 points, along with 34 penalty minutes in 29 games with Hartford this season. He ranks fifth on the Wolf Pack in points, fourth in goals, and is tied for fourth in assists. He is also tied for first among team defensemen and second on Hartford overall with two power play goals on the season. Allen has registered seven points (two goals, five assists) in the last seven games, including a two-point performance in a 3-1 win yesterday at Bridgeport (one goal, one assist). The Chicago, Illinois native originally signed with the Rangers as an undrafted free agent on March 29, 2013.
