William Cullen was at the game and sent in these thoughts:

  • Marek Hrivik: Healthy scratch
  • Chris Kreider: “scored on a deflection and is using his size and speed to get the puck and win some battles. Made some good plays in the defensive zone and all in all it was another solid game.
  • JT Miller:  “scored on a deflection and in the shootout but I didn’t particularly like his game. He had some terrible turnovers and defensive lapses. I thought some of the goals were his fault from lazy play and turnovers.”
  • Danny Kristo: “Had a strong all around game and a snipe on the PP. He is a very smart player, makes good plays all over the ice and I would say he was the best forward on the ice.”
  • Oscar Lindberg: “Sometimes he looks great, sometimes he looks lost but he is starting to cut down on those times. He is responsible in all areas of the ice but passes up shots. He needs to start shooting more,”
  • Dylan McIlrath: “Fought twice to stand up for teammates, had some good hits, scored and is skating well. He had two penalties and I think some people will see a problem with that but in terms of being the rough and tough player that he was drafted for, I thought he was great tonight.”
  • Conor Allen: “Just a solid and consistent game. He makes smart plays and doesn’t do much to stand out. That being said, he always seems to make the right play.”

“It was a sloppy game but fun game that saw the Wolf Pack come back from down 3-1.”
