Read: Could The Rangers Block The Islanders From Playing At The Nassau Coliseum After They Move To Brooklyn?

As part of Bruce Ratner’s plan to renovate the Nassau Coliseum, the Islanders would play six games per season in the renovated arena after they move to Brooklyn and play their home games in the Barclays Center.

According to the NY Post, the Rangers/Madison Square Garden and the NHL need to approve such a plan that would allow the Islanders to play home games in two different buildings.

Madison Square Garden is also bidding to renovate the arena and potentially bring the Rangers AHL affiliate to the building.
