Dave Maloney said that Callahan had a statement game for the Rangers and was their catalyst on the ice.
His linemate during that game, Derek Stepan, said that Callahan had a “heck of a game” and stepped up when the Rangers needed him.

Callahan has points in four straight games including three goals and three assists.
