Note: Ryan Callahan Played With His Shoulder Injury Since February

It was announced after the Rangers season ended that Ryan Callahan underwent surgery to repair a torn labrum in their left shoulder.

Callahan told the Rangers website this week that the origin of his shoulder injury came from his tussle with Max Talbot on January 29th.

Callahan was ruled out 10-14 days with a shoulder subluxation but returned to the lineup February 7th and played in a total of 51 games, including playoffs, after he suffered the injury.

In terms of his injury, Callahan told the Rangers website “I mean everybody’s playing with injuries, and it’s just about going out there no matter what and doing what you have to do, not letting (the injury) get in your way. ”
