I Love Cally, but five years is generous . Only because of how hard he beats himself up. He may be reduced to an injury prone 4 th liner by year 5 let alone year 7! I hate to lose him but i cant tie up that cap hit on a player who may not even be healthy! But if they fo deal him then they better get something good for him or else hold onto him and try to work it out til July

He's asking for the same amount of money the rangers are offering. It's a difference of two years. This, in my opinion is getting blown a bit out of proportion.

I'm a big Ranger fan but don't follow every team/player/contract, but 5 for 30 seems reasonable.  Hope Cally reconsiders.

i agree with peter but when you are dealing with your captain, exceptions should be made.theres a reason why they made him captain.i dont think we cant go on if we lose him,but i do feel you lose heart.and these days its hard to find.

If the Rangers are truly offering 5 at 30...and Cally won't budge, then trade him.
