On CBC, Elliotte Friedman says taht the Rangers have a list of ten teams that Marian Gaborik would accept a trade to.
He says that the Rangers spoke with the Canucks and Gaborik was a topic, but there wasn’t a match between the two teams.
Friedman says that some teams think the Rangers may have to eat some of Gaborik’s salary to trade him. That is not something that Friedman thinks the Rangers are willing to do.
Friedman said, once again, that the Rangers will only trade Gaborik to recoup the depth that they lost in the offseason.
PJ Stock says that one of the issues with Gaborik is that John Tortorella is criticizing him too much.
