Buzz: Marian Gaborik Would Be Ready For An Early January Start

According to the Daily News, Marian Gaborik would be ready to play if the NHL season were to start in early January.

Gaborik had shoulder surgery in the offseason and was expected to need 5-6 months to recover.

He has been skating since September.

The report also notes that Rick Nash, minor groin injury, and Carl Hagelin, shoulder injury in November, would be ready as well.
